Guidelines for damage compensation for customers

Customer Damage Type Compensation criteria
In case of critical repairs due to performance and functional defects occurring within 10 days after the purchase it can be replaced or refunded.
In case of critical repairs due to performance and functional defects occurring within 1 month after the purchase it can be replaced or repaired free of charge.

* The retention period of key parts is for 5 years from the date of manufacturing.

Service expenses will be incurred even within the warranty period in the following cases:
  • 1. In case of failure or damage that occurred due to the negligence (move, fall, shock, immoderate operation, etc.) of the user after installation.
  • 2. In case of a failure due to disassembling the product by a person who is not a designated technician of the place of purchase.
  • 3. In case of a failure due to an inappropriate installation or inappropriate use.
  • 4. In case of a failure due to a natural disaster such as a fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, abnormal power supply, etc.
  • 5. In case of a failure due to freezing and burst of water pipe or drain pipe.
  • 6. In case of a failure due to the installation not following the installation standards in the manual
  • 7. In case of a failure due to the failure of not complying with safety standards in the manual.
  • 8. In case the environmental issues impact the ice-making performance.
  • 9. In case of a failure due to the defect of surrounding equipment (related to electricity and water supply device).
